Hi, I’m Mike. I’m producteer, strategist and entrepreneur.
Over the past 20 years, I’ve led product and marketing teams across the food, travel, medical and financial industries working with brands like AOL, Facebook, MapQuest, Marriott, Microsoft, Starbucks, and Starwood Properties. Most recently, I led innovation and strategy at AAA, building their first ever community-based, travel app and internal design strategy team.
I’ve worked closely with both corporate and non-profit boards in a strategic capacity defining purpose and vision.
I’ve built and led design, marketing, and product teams tackling challenges around innovation, culture and leadership.
I’ve been involved in 1 IPO and 3 acquisitions and managed a multi-million dollar venture project.
Currently, I advise and consult with venture-backed start-ups, creative agencies and development companies around product and organizational business strategy. My company, Perspective Strategy, works specifically with purpose-driven organizations and leaders focusing on intention, meaning and creativity as levers to problem solve.
I grew up working on farms and in restaurants. I love to grow, prepare and eat food. I make a mean meatball.
I’m a fanatic when it comes to problem solving. Curiosity and creativity drive my thinking. Complexity adds happy fuel.
I have an MBA in Sustainable Management and two Bachelor degrees – one in Business and one in Biology/Pre-Med.
Originally from upstate New York, I’ve lived in Denver, San Diego and am currently based in San Francisco, CA. Fun fact: I’m one state short of having visited all 50 states.
